The Council for Decarbonising Transport in Asia, established under the NDC Transport Initiative for Asia (NDC TIA), launched its Flagship Report ‘The Path to Zero: A Vision for Decarbonised Transport in Asia’ on 7 April at the ADB Transport Forum 2022. After one year of close collaboration between the 14 Council Members, composed of transport experts from the public, private and civil society sectors, the report is now available online.
The report identifies blind spots currently detaining decarbonisation in the transport sector in Asia and provides a vision and recommendations to overcome them to achieve the goal for zero-carbon transport by mid-century.
