Environment and circular economy transition in China


The Environment and Circular Economy in China knowledge platform is jointly operated by the project “ China Integrated Waste Management NAMA Supported Project” funded by NAMA Facility, the project “Sino-German Strategic Alliance for Advanced Biomethane Technology” funded by develoPPP program under Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the project “Rethinking Plastics — Circular Economy Solutions to Marine Litter” by both European Union and BMZ, the project “Sino-German Project for Upgrading Plastic Management in Agriculture” by BMZ, and the project “Sino-German Environmental Partnership” funded through the International Climate Initiative (IKI) of the Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU). The projects are implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. 

As a federally owned enterprise, GIZ supports the German Government in achieving its objectives in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development.
